The Change Analyst is a senior advisor role, with the responsibility of contributing to the development and execution of the Fire and Emergency New Zealand change management approach and practices. This role will work closely with the Principal Advisor Change Management to implement organisational wide complex change assessments, which will provide advice to senior decision-makers on how our people are experiencing change, and how change ready they are. The role will also assist with the development, piloting and rollout of change management collateral for project managers and senior leaders to enhance the change management maturity of the organisation.  This will help ensure that change is delivered consistently, improvements are made to future change initiatives based on lessons learned, and as an organisation we get better at change every time. 

The ideal applicant will have

  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) and skills in business and change analysis – for large organisational transformation or change programmes, preferably government and/or emergency sectors 
  • Prosci Certification and demonstrated experience in using Prosci tools
  • Demonstrable experience of working with numerous and varied stakeholders 
  • Strong analytical thinking, critical thinking and good problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity, at pace and to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Very high standard of written communication and documentation with the ability to clearly present analysis and ideas on paper, to write succinctly and think critically about an issue, with any implications made explicit
  • Working knowledge of project management
  • Practical, flexible, adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity while being delivery focused
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well and collaborate with others, building trusted relationships and influencing
  • Resourceful, self-sufficient and innovative.

The salary range for this role is $98,303 -$109,226.
