About the role

This is a great opportunity for an HRIS Reporting Analyst to join our People Experience branch, while we are working on replacing our payroll/HRIS system. On a day to day basis you will work with our HRIS team to contribute to the maintenance, design and scripting of analytical reports in tSQL/SRSS and other approved applications to meet agreed reporting requirements. You will also support end-users to improve their use and understanding of our reporting tools, while using your reporting skills to seek opportunities to create efficiently and automation in reporting.

As an analyst you will bridge the gap between raw enterprise data and management decision making, extraction, analysis and data integrity are key competencies you will develop in this job.

About you

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Demonstratable skills and experience writing tSQL code
  • Working knowledge of the Privacy Act
  • Intermediate level of competency as a reporting analyst, ideally in HRIS systems
  • Customer service ethic to deliver a great people experience

You will be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication, written and oral skills and excellent relationship management skills.  This will enable you to work constructively with a range of people, building strong and trusted relationships while having due regard for our operational service delivery context.

Essential:

  • Relevant experience in business analysis or reporting using business information systems
  • Diligence with a strong attention to detail and able to detect and analyse inconsistencies in data, and show initiative to solve reporting needs
  • Trustworthiness, respect, and integrity; able to work with confidential data with absolute discretion

The remuneration range for this position is $84,981 - $94,423.
