Risk Reduction Business Coordinator

Permanent, Part Time (20 hours per week - flexible)

Would you be interested in a busy and varied business support role in an organisation dedicated to helping our communities?  Fire and Emergency New Zealand is looking for a motivated, energetic and organised Business Services Coordinator to join our Wildfire and Engineering team based at our office that is part of a brand new fire Station and Offices on the University Campus.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Wildfire Manager, this role is responsible to both the Wildfire Team based around the country and the Christchurch Fire Engineering team for delivering a wide range of administrative functions, coordination and support. The primary role is to process building consent applications received, data entry and effective record keeping. Previous experience of maintaining quality administration systems and high level of support to ensure compliance would be an advantage.

Our ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, experience working as part of a team, is motivated, flexible and has a proactive outlook towards improving business processes within an organisation.

If you have the above attributes, including a willingness to work with a diverse range of people across the organisation and have full competency in the MS Office suite of applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) – we would like to hear from you.
