About the role

The Planning and Reporting Advisor is responsible for coordinating and managing the production of key accountability documents (Statement of Intent, Statement of Performance Expectations and Annual Report) working closely and collaboratively with managers and staff across the organisation. You will also be responsible for preparing the Board’s quarterly report to the Minister of Internal Affairs.

If you are keen to further develop your organisational planning and reporting skills and experience; have excellent communication skills, including creative writing skills, and enjoy working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including senior managers and staff across the organisation, then this could be the role you’ve been looking for. 

About you

Our ideal candidate will have;

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the machinery of government and overall government planning, reporting and accountability processes
  • Experience with public sector planning, budgeting and reporting processes, and preparation of accountability documentation such as Statements of Intent, Statements of Performance Expectations and Annual Reports.
  • Experience in roles requiring high level collaboration, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.

The salary range for this role is $84,000 to $93,000 gross per annum. We offer a great range of benefits as part of this permanent role:
