About the role

This role will see you reporting to the National Manager Workforce Capability and is responsible for driving the development of strategies and programmes that build and support leadership capability across Fire and Emergency This includes leading the creation, design, and implementation of key initiatives that help our leaders at all levels across the organisation to grow and develop in their roles.  A day in the life will see you involved in:

  • designing and progressing initiatives and action plans that support and effect organisational change
  • acting as the organisation's expert adviser in the area of leadership development
  • integrating and embedding leadership development into strategies and work programmes across the orgranisation
  • participating as a cornerstone member of the Workforce Capability leadership team

This is a permanent role and the salary range is $120,000 to $133,000 per annum.  Our employee  benefits include matched KiwiSaver employer contributions of up to 6%, life and income protection insurance, and a wellness policy that provides generous sick leave provisions so you can look after you and your family. 

About you

As a seasoned Leadership development professional, you have valuable experience in leadership development and a track record of successful implementation , you will be credible in collaboratively developing, communicating, and persuading others towards a vision for leadership within the Fire and Emergency New Zealand.
