About the role

We have an opportunity for an intermediate change management practitioner to work in our newly established National Workplace Culture and Change Directorate.  You will benefit from the experience of a seasoned manager who will develop you and enhance your skills to take you to the next level in your career.

You support priority change projects across Fire and Emergency New Zealand, working with key stakeholders including Project Managers, Business Owners, and Sponsors.  You will develop and implement change management plans, while be supported every step of the way.

You will work across a diverse portfolio, which includes our positive workplace culture and volunteer strategy, you will be instrumental in lifting the change management capability across the organisation.

This is a fixed term role and the salary range is $100,000 to $112,000.  

About you

To succeed you will bring

  • Significant experience working at an intermediate – senior advisory level across organisations of similar size and complexity.
  • Understanding of change methodology including:
    • impact assessments
    • training plans
    • the role of a sponsor
  • Strong communication skills
  • Relationship and stakeholder engagement
  • A practical and adaptable mindset
