TREVOR HOOK (Chair) |

After six years as the Department of Conservation’s resident ranger on Mana Island, Trevor moved to the Marlborough Sounds in 1992 to set up a resort in Te Mahia Bay. In his time in the region he has championed a range of local environmental and tourism projects including the establishment of the Queen Charlotte Track. Trevor has previously been Chair of Queen Charlotte College Board of Trustees and a former Marlborough District Councillor. He is a Nelson / Marlborough Department of Conservation Board member and is a Commissioner and Chair for the Marlborough Environment Plan Hearing Panel. |
| TRACY JOHNSTON (Deputy Chair) | |

Tracy is an experienced independent Director, organisational leader and qualified marketer. She has a professional career in the visitor industry, working in destination management and marketing roles both offshore and across New Zealand for more than 25 years. Tracy now works remotely as a senior consultant with international tourism consultancy TRC Tourism, allowing her to be based in Marlborough where she lives on her Pinot Noir vineyard with husband Kevin. Tracy has extensive knowledge, networks and governance experience within the tourism and wine sectors and more recently in the vocational education sector. Tracy currently serves on the Marlborough Regional Skills Leadership Group, as Deputy Chair of Marlborough Winegrowers and Deputy Chair of the Local Advisory Committee. Tracy is a member of the Institute of Directors and serves on the IOD Nelson Marlborough Committee. |
| CHRIS FAULLS (Member) | |

Chris has had a 40-year full and part time career in the NZ Defence Force, retiring as the Director of the Army Reserve. He now owns and operates a Holiday Park on the family beef farm in the Sounds. He is a member of the Primary Industries Adverse Events Network and is the Adverse Events Coordinator for the Rural Support Trust and an Alternate Controller for Marlborough Civil Defence. |

Mark owns and operates a large local supermarket which provides more than 100 community sponsorships throughout Marlborough each year. He has extensive business continuity planning experience gained from the Kaikoura and Seddon / Ward earthquakes, local flooding events and most recently the local response to COVID-19. Mark is currently a Board member for the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce and has previous experience on School Boards and the Community of Schools (Piritahi) Advisory Board. |

Nic has been Improvement Manager in Nelson, Tasman, Marlborough for the Department of Conservation (DOC) since 2017. He was a former member of the senior academic staff at the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology, and prior to that, had a twelve-year career in air traffic control. |

Andy served in the Royal New Zealand Air Force for 20 years, retiring at the rank of Flight Sergeant in 1995. He then spent a decade working for Safe Air (now Airbus), 14 years as CEO of Cuddon Ltd and a short period as the CEO of Hockey New Zealand. He is Chair of the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce, Secretary of Blenheim Rotary Club, Assistant Governor of Rotary District 9999, Director at Oceania Hockey Federation, a past Director and Deputy Chair of Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology, Director of Hockey New Zealand and Marlborough Youth Trust. |
| DR SHARON GEMMELL, MNZM (Member) | |

Sharon’s iwi affiliations include Te Ātiawa o Te Waka-a-Māui, Ngāti Rārua and Ngāti Toa Rangatira. Since she returned to Blenheim thirty years ago, she has investigated and negotiated Te Ātiawa o Te Waka-a-Māui’s Treaty settlement. Sharon is a member of the Institute of Directors and is a Justice of the Peace. Currently Sharon is a Director of Te Rau O Te Aroha Ltd and the Koru Institute of Training and Education. She chairs the Marlborough Branch of the New Zealand Māori Council, the New Zealand Occupational Therapy Board’s Rōpu Tohutohu and the Midwifery Council’s Professional Conduct Committee (PCC). She is also on the PCC for the Psychologist Board and the New Zealand Nursing Council. Sharon is a trustee of the Rata Foundation, a member of the Mana Wahine Waitangi Tribunal Joint Research claimant representatives and a member of New Zealand Lottery Individuals with Disability (LIWD) distribution committee. In 2018 she received the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to Māori and education. |
