Privacy Statement

In this form we ask for your personal information including your contact details, volunteer role preference, age, and other demographic details (which are optional), for the purpose of:

• Contacting you regarding volunteering with Fire and Emergency New Zealand;
• Providing you with updates about Fire and Emergency’s volunteering initiatives;
• Understanding stations/brigades where you may be interested in volunteering given your location.

The storage, use and disclosure of the information you provide in this form will be undertaken in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 2020. Specifically, your personal information will be kept safe and secure; and your personal information will be used and shared for the purpose of Fire and Emergency volunteer recruitment, and/or if required/allowed by law.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected please contact us at OfficialInformationRequests@fireandemergency.nz.
