We are committed to recognising the support of our self-employed volunteers and volunteers’ employers. One of the ways that we raise awareness of the Proud Employer mark is by promoting employers of volunteers in our annual national campaign, which recognises the vital contribution businesses make in our communities.

The support of our Proud Employers means our volunteers can remain on call, during mahi

Our new campaign depicts our volunteers in their operational gear going about their day jobs, showing that they’re tradies, farmers, teachers and accountants... until they’re not. When they drop the tools, and get out there to do life-saving mahi in their community.

Our volunteer firefighters, operational support, brigade support, and medical first responders wouldn’t be able to do any of this important mahi without the support of our Proud Employers.

The attention grabbing new creative will feature on the front cover of The Press and The Post, and the campaign videos will appear on TVNZ+, YouTube and in social media.
